happy turkey day

Checking in to say happy thanksgiving. We’re here in Queens at Denis’s mom’s place. We’ve had the feast and are now hanging out watching the kids have way more energy than they should.

The past couple days have been fun. Yesterday we met up with Mare-Bear for lunch while Denis came to queens to drop off stuff here at his mom’s. Then we all met up at the theater to see ‘the little mermaid’ on broadway. We had 2nd row seats and CootieBoy was very upset and didn’t want to be that close. But I got him calmed down as the show started and did well. They seemed to really like the show as evidenced by their reaction when the performers appeared on this morning’s parade on tv.

We also had dinner with Harold and Jean a couple nights ago. It was great to spend a couple hours catching up with them and the kids had a blast playing with their son, Oliver (who is a true CUTIE PIE).

The whole week has been great and I can’t believe we leave for Virginia tomorrow morning!
