So with CootieGirl pottytraining over the past year – and especially not wearing pullups at night – for a while we were washing sheets every other day. And the stink of urine never quite made it out of the bedding, causing CootieGirl’s room to have a general malodorous stink if you got to close to her bed.
The kicker came about a month ago when she wet the bed so badly that her favorite pink pillow was all but destroyed because the smell was so pervasive. So we threw the pillow in the garage to eventually get thrown away.
“Hmmm…” I thought to myself. “I wonder if this would work in the washing machine.” I looked at the back of the bottle and saw that it CAN be used on pre-wash clothes with no ill effects.
So I put some of the Nature’s Miracle in the BLEACH dispenser in my washer, and washed her sheets on a bleach cycle.
And do you know those things came out smelling like daisies? Next up: comforter. Once again, clean smelling from top to bottom.
So this morning Denis said, “You know, that heart pillow is still in the garage – do you want to give it a shot?”
Sure! I popped it in the washer, did a quick wash with bleach cycle using the Nature’s Miracle. VOILA! Innocuous smelling pillow once again! I know CootieGirl will be thrilled to have that pillow back.
And I’m thrilled that I’m not going to have to buy new sheets for her every 4-5 months because of the smell.
You know, I actually had this product recommended to me when I was looking for something to get rid of Ollie-puke on our rug. Now I’ll definitely look for it!
