Yes, we confirmed that our freezer is indeed working again. Praise be! The watery ice packs turned solid as a rock, as did the cookie dough we put in there. Denis promptly moved some of the stuff from our engorged fridge freezers into the deep freezer again.
Then went out and bought three gallons of ice cream. Because one is NEVER enough. Especially in winter.
They aren’t gallon size ice creams. And I never got to eat my Birthday Cake ice cream, so I replaced it. And I wanted to get something for you and they were two for one so I had to get three because my brand wasn’t two for one, only marked down in price. None of that makes sense, but I think I’ll have some ice cream for lunch.
Just thinking about eating ice cream in December makes me cold. Of course, you don’t have normal winter temperatures down there in SC.
Marmie: don’t be fooled. Even though we had temps in the mid 70s a couple weeks ago, the mornings are in the 30s now.
Marmie, most mornings are in the mid-40s. It’s not normal when its in the 30s. I think it got up to 65 or 70 degrees today after the rain came through. Ummmmm…birthday cake ice cream.
Dude, when I have frost on my windows three out of five mornings, it’s in the low 30s.
On those 65-70 degree days, bring on the ice cream!! I agree…mmmm, birthday cake ice cream. Yum. That’s something I don’t buy for us so I do enjoy it when I visit you.
