First Quiet Day

My day was great today – nice and quiet. Only a couple clients called, and the small tasks I can do without Mr. BIL here were done before lunch. No calls went out for assistance in dictation, so I’ve had a lovely afternoon just waiting for the day to end.

A lot of our attorneys are at the ACC Championship games, and what attorneys aren’t there in person are holed up in conference rooms watching the games. It’s so quiet around here it feels like a pre-holiday Friday and the head of HR even said she wanted to close the firm early today. Either way, I’m leaving about 10 minutes after she does. *lol*

We’re still planning on going to the movies tomorrow, although it’s supposed to rain. If the drive-in ends up being a wash-out, we’ll just take the kids to a movie at the theater. Either way – they’ll get to see “Horton Hears a Who,” which is getting GREAT reviews from what I’ve seen online. It’ll be more expensive to see it in the theater, so I’m hoping the rain is a non-issue come dinner time tomorrow (apparently the drive-in only closes if they lose power due to rain – but I can’t imagine trying to watch a movie through your windshield in a hard pouring rain with only your wipers to let you see the screen).

Either way, I have to get my windshield wippers replaced. And I saw online that there’s supposed to be a 70% chance of thunderstorms on 7 pm. Not good.
