So after a couple weeks of being lax on calorie counting and (surprise surprise) not losing any more weight, the past two days I’ve been diligent about sticking close to 1,300 calories. And what do you know – this morning the scale drop 1/2 a pound.
And do you know that when that scale told me I was now down 21.5 pounds as opposed to 21 pounds, it was like something clicked on in my head and suddenly my motivation was back. My head is back in the game (thanks, High School Musical!) and I’m determined to lose 8.5 more pounds by May 24. I lost a couple weeks of time there when my motivation flagged, but I’m hopeful I can lose 5-6 pounds before my next doctor appointment (April 23) and continue on from there.
