Elevenses, Shopping and a Movie

My uncle came over today for “Elevenses” tea (so called due to the time of day you have the tea). After that CB and I headed out to a movie while Marmie took CG out for some shopping. CB and I saw “Monster and Aliens” and decided to see it in 3D since they were selling cheap Tuesday tickets ($6 each). It was a cute movie and we both enjoyed it. CB played peanut gallery and would periodically make loud insightful comments for all in the theater to enjoy. Fortunately there were only 6 other people in the theater, so it wasn’t as bad as it sounds.

CG came home with two big bags of clothes (we haven’t gone through them so she can show me – as soon as I’m done posting I’ll do that), but she was VERY excited when she came down to Pop’s office.

Marmie and I have decided that tomorrow will be a work day – we’ll put the kids in front of the Electronic Babysitter (read: tv) and work on her business stuff for most of the day.

That’s about it for now. I don’t know that I’m RESTING as much as I wanted – the kids keep coming in my room at 7 a.m. demanding breakfast. This morning I tried to send them Marmie’s way, to no avail. So I was up at 7:15 a.m. scrambling eggs for the boy and serving a scone with milk to the girl. How is this a vacation again?
