When we first moved into our house a year ago (a year ago and two days, by the way!!!) I went on a furniture buying frenzy – CootieGirl got a new bedroom set, CootieBoy got a new bed, a table and chairs for the breakfast area, the living room was all brand new, as well as a new entertainment center and large screen tv. Went CRAZY. The only thing I didn’t do was buy a new bed for the master bedroom. In fact, our master bedroom got NO new furniture whatsoever. I did briefly go in search on a nice headboard and footboard but in the end I didn’t get anything.
Now that we’re in the home stretch on watching our pennies (in about 11 months we’ll have one of our cars paid off and CootieGirl will be out of full-time daycare), I can’t help but start looking at Oak Beds. This particular company, Time 4 Sleep, is based in the United Kingdom, but they have such lovely things and I can’t help but wish they were more local to my area. This particular headboard (pictured below) is really nice and elegant and I like how it comes with two options for the footboard so you can decide if you want something more prominent or more simple. I’m a sucker for footboards, so that’s probably the option I’d choose (it’s what I chose for CootieGirl’s room).
