Okay, so my second lovey didn’t turn out as great as the first. I won’t go into details, but suffice to say I need to invest in some tape which holds slippery fabrics together as you sew. So, this 16×17 lovey will definitely not be sold – it will be a gift to a friend of mine. She’ll be more forgiving of my mistakes during the learning process.
So, the blue side is the long-haired flurry fleece – SUPER soft and wonderful. The other side is an AWESOME pattern – I love Dick and Jane books! – and is a sturdy cotton. Together they should hold up well. And you know what? This particular lovey would actually be AWESOME as a pillow. So that’s another option in the future if the sewing thing continues to be fun for me.
