I’m at the local public library since we won’t have home computer internet until August 7. Things have been fine here – the kids are getting bored, Denis is getting antsy, and I just want to sleep. LOTS to talk about since my last post, but I’ll keep it brief so that Denis can come and log in and check his emails.
The most important thing is that CootieBoy’s face is covered in spots – it seems he gets three new ones each day. They aren’t bug bites, and it’s not a rash. They are just red bumps that eventually scab over. They are ONLY on his cheeks and around his mouth and nose. They are NOWHERE ELSE on his body. We are dumbfounded. They don’t seem to bother him at all, and he’s otherwise healthy. Even so, I’ve called my healthcare company to find an urgent care facility nearby to get him checked out.
CootieGirl has been fussier than normal – I think it’s stress-related, and we’re dealing with it. Other than that she is having a great time and enjoying her new room.
The apartment is small – feeling smaller each day as long as all four of us are there all day long. Yesterday we went to Discovery Place in Charlotte for a few hours so that the kids could play a bit – they loved it.
Okay, I’ll sign off for now – just be aware that we will NOT be able to read email, read comments, make posts, or do just about ANYTHING computer-wise until August 7th. Frustrating, but true.
Bummer on the computer access. Can’t Denis’ lap top pick up some errant wireless signals?
