It took me forver to read this book, but I finally finished it once I began taking lunch hours here at The Firm. I’ve been reading this one for at least 3-4 months – reading a few pages here and there when I have a few moments to play catch-up.
That was the great thing about this book – it was such an easy read that despite taking a 6-week hiatus I was able to pick it up and get right back into the story. It’s the tale of a betting game on Capitol Hill gone awry and was fast-paced and enjoyable. I’ve read a couple other Brad Meltzer books so I knew it would be a fun read – much like Grisham books USED to be before he became a formula writer.
