I can’t believe I’m up to reading my 26th book for the year 2010. Can I hit 30 by the end of the year? If I do, I’ll be thrilled. THRILLED, I tell you!
I finished my latest book on Friday (The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo) and have spent the past couple days debating which book to read next. In the end, I’ve decided to pick up an actual BOOK and read it.
I know! Hard to believe, right?
Anyway, we’ll see how long it takes me to get through it this way. The bonus to audio books is that I can listen to them in the car. The negative is that the only time I’ll have to read is during lunch at work, and that’ll be 20 minutes a day. But with any luck the book I’ve picked will be a relative easy read and I’ll be able to get it done sooner rather than later.
We’ll see. It’s been a long time since I picked up a book.
What did you think of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo?
I thought it was good. I also watched the original Swedish film, which was also good. Very dark, though. Those Swedes – they crazy. No wonder they are so depressed (weren’t they at one point the country with the highest % of suicides?).
The book was dark, too. And yes, they have a high rate of suicide.
