I re-filled the bird feeder in our backyard yesterday. Sure enough the birds came back in big numbers, including a red cardinal. You can see it on the ground. And a rabbit. We have them all over the neighborhood these days and they aren’t skittish like pigeons. One was laying on the front lawn only a few feet from me the other day as I was talking to my two neighbors. Bold — or lazy.

It’s like the nature channel in your own backyard.
Rabbits used to always come to my dad’s garden. He ended up hating rabbits because they would always eat from his plants.
Bold AND lazy, naturally 🙂
Timothy – our rabbits are eating my asters, which I’m not happy about, but most everything else is intact, so I can’t complain too much. and they are too darn cute to stay mad for long.
That is a great photo. I’m so glad we have a good photographer in the family.
All you need is a Snow White dress and some dwarves and you’ve got yourself a nature cartoon! *grin*
Ditto Nicole’s thoughts, very naturely *wink*
Okay, now how did you get that nifty spoken-word version of your blog?!?
Thanks, Jen. And Mariann, you’ll have to wait until Jaynee gets back to you for your answer on the Spoken Word thingie. That’s all her doing.
