Denis’ pork shoulder is finally done and instead of slicing off pieces for dinner, he made SHREDDED BBQ!!! Oh my gosh – it looks SO good. I wish I could take a flattering picture of it, but I’m not good with food photography.
It is SO tender and absolutely cooked to perfection.
The crazy thing? We have enough to easily feed a dozen people. That shoulder was HUGE.
Mmmmmmmmm…pork shoulder…sounds delicious!
Actually it’s a pork picnic not shoulder for you BBQ enthusiasts. And it tastes delicious.
Denis – your recipe said pork shoulder, so I assumed that’s what it was.
Do y’all cook ribs at any time? My fiance, Doug, is from Texas, and he can’t cook to save his life, but he loves his dad’s bbq ribs. He managed to get the bbq sauce recipe but his family didn’t tell him exactly how to cook them LOL
Vanessa – my husband is a GREAT cook and we have ribs about once a month. I’ll have Denis post his favorite no-fail recipes for you to print off.
Sweet! I love y’all! Thanks so much. This whole no-cooking thing of Doug’s is a pain, but he just started working for an italian restaurant, as a side cook LOL He keeps making mistakes so he keeps wondering how soon he’s going to be fired. I’ll cook as long as he does the dishes. I can’t have dishpan hands! Because then, I couldn’t read my blogs.
