Back at work today. Mr. BIL has been on the phone most of the morning, so I’ve been able to get the last two dictations done from last week. He has a list of 4-5 things he wants to get out today, but I have yet to see any of it. I know my afternoon will be extremely busy.
The watercooler talk this morning was all about Friday’s office luncheon. L-Train said I had the “new person’s chair” and said that last year, as the new girl, she sat next to Letterhead Lawyer and the other elder lawyer. I guess I got it this year since I didn’t attend last year’s party, which would have been my first.
We have about 10 people out today, but it feels like more because there isn’t a lot of noise on the floor. All of my department is in though.
