If I thought yesterday was busy – ha! Today will be even worse. Mr. BIL is in meetings almost all day, including one that I have to sit in and take notes for. I’m dreading that. I was class secretary for a year in college and it was MISERABLE having to take minutes, type it up and distribute it. And those were only 30 minute minutes. This one is going to be over TWO HOURS. Obviously I’m going to have the call recorded so that I can play it back later and do actual notes. Because there’s just NO WAY I’ll be able to get everything and write it down legibly. And I’m hoping that by recording it I don’t have to actually sit in there, since I can transcribe it at my leisure while Mr. BIL is gone the remainder of the week.
In addition to that meeting we have three letters with enclosures that he wants to get out. And he’s leaving at 4:30 p.m. for an offsite meeting. So needless to say you probably won’t hear from me again today. So have a great day!
I’ll be praying that nothing goes wrong with that recording. Anything can happen.
I just tried to get out of sitting in there at all since I’m recording it, and Mr. BIL said, “You can go ahead and record it, but I’d still like you in there to take general notes.”
