And With That, The Boy Becomes A Man

CootieBoy goes into the bathroom to do his thang. I hear him chattering to himself for a while, and still he won’t come out. I walk over to the door and hear rustling on the other side.

“CootieBoy? Are you okay?” I ask.

“Yes,” he responds.

“Can I come in?” I ask.

“Um…no. Um…yes!”

I open the door and there he is, going potty while reading a book.

And with that the boy has become a man and the bathroom has become his library.

It’s always a proud moment when the man-child discovers the true purpose of the bathroom! Well done, CB!

To give you the history on this. CB didn’t decide on his own to take up reading in the “library.” He came in to wash his hands and saw his dad was using the “library” and thus the true purpose of the facilities was handed down.
