A Travel Day

Today I’m only working until about 3 p.m. and then Denis and the kids are picking me up and we’re heading to Virginia for Glad-ball’s wedding this weekend. It should be a fun time – I’m excited about the weekend because tomorrow is a Bridal Spa Day – all of the bridemaids are going with Glad-ball to a spa for some pampering. I’ll be getting a manicure, a pedicure (my first ever – I’m freaking out), and a facial. It’s expensive, but it’ll be FUN FUN FUN. Then tomorrow night is the rehearsal and dinner, followed by the wedding on Saturday afternoon.

And while I’m doing all that (with Denis accompanying me for parts of it), Marmie and Pop will get to spend a lot of quality time with CootieGirl and CootieBoy. CootieGirl is very excited about going to Marmie’s house for the weekend and seeing Jen and Beau.

Then bright and early Sunday morning we’ll hop in the car and drive back to SC. I thought briefly about staying for church but would much rather get on the road and get home in the early afternoon instead of eveningtime.

Fortunately I didn’t come in to huge stacks of folders on my desk, which means my workload will hopefully be a lot lighter than yesterday!
