The other day I posted about how Denis stores things in weird places around the house that don’t make sense and it causes me not to be able to ever find anything. Case in point: spackle in the backyard shed instead of with the toolbox. Case in point: portable DVD player in the garage instead of the entertainment center.
I claimed that I couldn’t find the portable DVD player and who knows WHERE Denis had put it because he puts things on weird places.
He claimed it was in the garage and I said I didn’t see it.
Turns out, it was in the garage, and this is my formal retraction.
I still think it’s a weird place to keep it.
First off, thanks for the formal apology.
We have limited storage room inside the house proper, that’s why stuff goes in the garage or the shed.
I’m trying to keep the house as clutter-free as possible. (No items meant for travel in the stay-at-home entertainment center, etc.)
Ideally, I’d like to stick to our plan, which is posted on Cootiehog “finish garage clean out” as sson as we both get the chance so we can start parking our cars in there.
That would probably mean moving more stuff to the shed. Just hope you can find it in there.
IMHO… I you usually use the portable DVD in the car with the kids on long road trips so I think that the Garage is a suitable place for the portable DVD player. I myself would have thought to look there. But I am not about taking sides… so I will just shut up. :X
