A Little Bit of This and That

  • The scale was my friend today – down two more pounds for a total loss of 13 so far since June 9. Yay! Feel free to visit my weight loss journal if you haven’t already.
  • Is it wrong that I just re-read part of my pregnancy diaries and I’m ready to do it all over again?
  • Am I officially “old” that the radio station currently set in my car plays classical music and that I’m more excited about Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll as performed by the San Francisco Symphony than the latest cd from any rock band? I used to make fun of my dad about that…
  • Less than four hours until I get to hold my baby girl again. Yippee!!!
  • My boss leaves for a 18-day vacation on August 15th. I’m gonna be bored out of my skull those weeks.
  • I’m supposed to drink a lot of water today but have only managed to gulp down a paltry 16 oz. so far.
  • Note to self: tomorrow morning buy some flowers to put on your desk – it just looks nice to have flowers.
  • I need to get BookQueue and MTAmazon up and running at Cootiehog. I’ve been meaning to do that forever and just never make the time to set it up.
  • And while I’m at it, I need to update my reviews page with all the books I’ve read in the past few weeks.
  • Hopefully my new running shoes will arrive in today’s mail so that I can use them at the gym tonight. My shoes are currently in Wisconsin.

You are hilarious and welcome to old age! 😆 I have to admit I am shocked (shocked!) that you have a classical station programmed on your car radio. What is wrong wif you? 😉
