So Mr. Russell called me last Thursday and gave me a list of things he wants me to do this week. What he may not have realized is that with the holiday yesterday and my vacation day on Friday that I really only have three days to do it all. And even those three days are compromised because I’m covering reception breaks all day Wednesday and the morning on Thursday because there are only two admins here for the three days. So I really only have two and a half days when you take out the 4-5 hours of reception duty that I’ll be doing between Wednesday and Thursday.
And to think he didn’t want me to be bored while he and Mr. Sutherland were each on vacation this week…
Update at 10:25 a.m.: Well, I’ve gotten three of the seven items done. Fortunately those three only took me an hour to do – they were the smallest of the projects. I’m now working on item four: importing all of Mr. Russell’s emails into SalesLogix. It’s a bit more daunting. Fortunately I did about half of it before Thanksgiving, so I don’t have too much more to do. I’ll hopefully get done with that by the end of the day, if I’m not interrupted by anything else.
