Peggy Noonan at Wall Street Journal wrote an amazing editorial on Friday that is worth linking to. I’m not political at all – in fact, I shy away from politics. But this woman’s take on the after-effects of Sept. 11 and what the government is/is not doing to ensure it doesn’t happen again is amazing.
I post this just as it’s announced today that a man with a dirty bomb was captured back in May. Start praying folks – cuz the ride isn’t over and the worst may be yet to come.
Great editorial. Of course I have always viewed the WSJ as reality not politics (oops, gave away my “rightness”). This piece though is clearly intended for all, regardless of affiliation. Thanks for finding this and posting it!
Peggy Noonan is a brilliant observer and writer. She was Reagan’s speechwriter after all…
She has some good insights, as usual.
