The One Ring

I am so excited for tomorrow – it’s the LOTR Trilogy day. I plan on arriving at the theater at 8 a.m. (theater opens for seating at 11 a.m., I believe). I’ll have my phone camera turned on for those who arrive letting their freak flags fly loud and proud.

I don’t know when my co-horts will be showing up to join me in line. We haven’t discussed that much. But I’ll be dressed warmly for my three-hour vigil (I’m notorious for never wearing a coat in winter, but trust me when I say that tomorrow I’ll be bundled up). I was relieved this morning when the weather guy said the next big snowstorm is arriving WEDNESDAY. When I heard a new Nor’easter was arriving this week I feared they’d say Tuesday!!!

And NOTHING is getting between me and my LOTR Trilogy. Not even two feet of snow.

And you call me a nerd. Nerd.

I did start watching the cast commentary of TTT yesterday after I got home. It’s just as enjoyable as for FOTR, but also a little disappointing in who’s not on it. I won’t spoil it for you by naming names.

To get there by 8 am, you are going to have to leave here by 7 am. Probably 6:45 or earlier. Are you prepared to get up at 6 o’clock on a non-work day? *lol*

I told you last night I was going to be on a 6:30 a.m. bus tomorrow morning and that’s why you should DEFINITELY move the alarm clock to my side of the bed today.

Only a LOTR nerd would get up that early just to see a coupla movies.

*Yes, I’m rubbing it in. I don’t get many opportunities to mock you*
