Still sick.
My throat hurts now and CootieGirl is still sick. She’s still in good spirits though. She woke Jaynee and me up at around 5 o’clock this morning. She had another one of her coughing spells. Mama gave her some Baby Tylenol and some lovin’ and that seemed to settle her for the most part. As for me, I’ve been up since 4:30. I should sleep good tonight.
Jaynee is going to call CG’s ped today and see what we can do for her to help her kick this. We turned on her hot-air humidifier this morning. We’ll keep it on all night tonight. Maybe that will loosen up her congestion. Keep praying for our recovery. Jaynee and CG leave for the trip south tomorrow, while I stay behind and block the cats from jumping on the guys finishing our hardwood floors.
Jaynee said CG is a daddy’s girl and she thinks she’s in for a rough weekend away from me. I doubt that.
In the meantime, Jaynee seems to be getting better from her illness. We are a bunch of sickies.
I hope little one gets better quickly before you see her. No fun being sick. I hope to be able to catch up on sleep these next few days so I can fell better and get my energy level back. I’m sure you’ll have a good time with CG. Even while sick, she’s fun.
So sorry you all aren’t feeling well. Hope you are better before the big weekend of play for J. and work for D. Can’t wait to see Cootiepie – runny nose and all.
