So Denis was sick last night. He had a fever of 101.5 or something like that. But my brave little trooper went into work today when his fever was down this morning.
I felt fine until a couple hours ago – now I’m not feeling well. It could have been lunch (a mix of WW and the chinese food that gets delivered every Thursday). At first I thought it was the food, but now I’m not so sure. My under-the-weather radar tells me this isn’t food related.
Those who know me know what a big deal that is. I never get sick. I’ll freely blame Denis if I do come down with something. Him, and the fact that I’ve gotten very little sleep since Saturday and my immune system is probably not at it’s strongest.
It wouldn’t be such a big deal if we didn’t also have CootieGirl to contend with. What do two sick parents do to keep their not-sick child from catching their fevers? Cuz 101.5F doesn’t look good on an infant.
I totally agree accept for the part were you blame me. I blame CootieGirl, only she isn’t sick this time. She sneezes on me often enough. I really hope she does catch this. This is going to be some night. Fortunately, baring a miracle, I’m using a sick day tomorrow. I need some sleep and to get over this fever. It’s going up again. I’ll be leaving for home soon. I’ll pick up CootieGirl around 6 p.m. probably in order to rest up for an hour.
I know you meant to say that you hope CootieGirl does NOT catch it.
I’ll be leaving at 4 p.m. today to go home. We’ll be commiserating together. Let’s hope CootieGirl isn’t squalling tonight but in the mood for long naps before bedtime…
Yes, I meant doesn’t. I was (and still am) very sick when I typed that.
I just got caught up after a busy day. So sorry you both aren’t well. You need your Marmie. Sorry…
I’ll be praying for all three of you.
