There are a lot of folks out there who are in denial — who believe Gay Aiken, sorry that’s Clay Aiken, is not gay. I don’t even think Clay is in this much denial. He just hasn’t come out of the closet yet. You’ll see. In the meantime, my wife and I don’t hate Clay or his music, we just think he happens to be gay. Here is a recent funny comment to an old post about AI2 runner up, Gay Aiken. Didn’t know Clay had angels hovering around him. I always saw it more like fairies.

The point is not whether or not he is gay or whether he comes out about it if he is gay. But we need to be careful in not labeling Clay or any person, or calling him “Gay Aiken” especially when he hasn’t admitted it himself. We would never dream of referring to a friend as “Gay Bob” or “Gay Dave.”

Everybody calls him that, he knows and has absolutely no issues with that. He’s gay, he’s Alex, therefore he’s Gay Alex. Makes conversatoins a lot less confusing!!!

I have some insider info that yes, Clay Aiken is indeed gay. A very good friend of mine is the sister of actor Chad Michael Murray (The Gilmore Girls, Dawson’s Creek, The Lone Ranger, Freaky Friday). During a recent visit to L.A., my friend was in a video store with Chad and she saw Clay with a guy, and they were holding hands.
Clay’s sexual orientation isn’t detrimental to his music, anyone with ears knows that. And really, who cares anymore? Homosexuality is no longer much of a taboo in this country.
Kudos to Denis for standing up for what he believes in. Being politically correct is BORING.

Okay for all of you “gay loving people” think and say what you want, but if your ignorance is going to be that strong that when Clay straight up tells everyone that he is not gay (June 20th issue of Rolling Stone) you think that people would mature and move on with their lives. Clay Aiken is not gay. He stated it in the interview that he had with Diane Sawyer. he said that he gets asked that all the time and that he is aware that he has some effiminate qualities, but he is not gay. plus, he is moving in with kimberly locke…he stated that in some magazine.
On the inside cover of Clay’s cd, ‘Measure of a Man’, he tells Kimberly he loves her. (and they are both strong Christians from what I hear.
