Quiet Last Day

In preparation for the trip to SC tomorrow, I’ve decided today is a “do nothing” day. The most I’ll be doing is taking CG out on her bike later this afternoon for some riding.

I’ve been working on my mother’s tea business this morning, and will probably stop in a little bit because the stuff I’m doing is monotonous and repetitive. Fortunately, if I don’t finish it while I’m here it’s easy enough to do at home, so it’s not a big deal.

The kids haven’t let me sleep in a single morning during the trip. I’m a bit ticked off about that. It’s a freakin’ vacation, right? I should be allowed to sleep in. But no – every morning at around 7 a.m. the boy has jumped on the bed and demanded I get up and make breakfast.

So, you should want a 4 1/2 yr old to try and make breakfast himself ?

No, but he can certainly WAIT until a more reasonable hour. Even just 8 a.m. would have been sublime.

Or he could have jumped into Marmie’s bed. It wouldn’t have been any better at home, don’t worry.

I didn’t think it was intended to be a vacation but, rather, a “visit.” A vacation is when you go away and have “other people” do things for you, paid people. 🙂

Yes, it was. I didn’t check my computer to see who was logged in on before me. 🙂
