Life is Hard, I Know

So today I had a dentist appointment – I have two cavities that have to be filled “right away”, so I go back next Tuesday for that. I’m surprised about the two cavities – I haven’t been to a dentist in about five years, and the last one was a joke that didn’t do anything to my teeth other than take lots of xrays. Seriously – he didn’t clean them, he didn’t fix anything. He just took xrays.

After the dentist, CootieGirl and I went to get my nails done. A couple weeks ago I had a really nice french manicure done, but at $20 with the tip it was a bit expensive. So I found another place in Bloomfield that was only $16 with the tip. But the manicure is just awful. For one thing, my nails were nice and long, and she filed them down so much that all my effort to grow them was for naught. And she made me leave the naildryer before they were truly dry, and by the time I got home I had smudged two of the nails. And don’t even get me started on all the polish muck under my nails. Needless to say, I won’t be going back there again. I’d rather pay the $20 and have the manicure last for two weeks with no problems.

*sigh* Tough day….

*grin*

You have bad luck with the medical profession.

You’re not getting a lot of sympathy on your tough day from this quarter. Let’s talk about the busload of Muslims, the irate family members looking for their alleged criminal loved ones, the attorneys who expect us to pay for everything…I could go on.
