You’d think I worked at the H&R Block and it was April 14th. I have been slammed at work since I got here. It wasn’t until 11 a.m. that I even SAT at my desk and opened up my email for the first time of the day.
This whole task list thing? BLOWS. Because as soon as I cross one item off the list, Mr. BIL comes out of his office and adds two more. No lie – this morning I had 18 things on my list for today. I’m down to 15 items BUT I’ve already DONE 11 items today. You do the math – you can see how I’m feeling very UNaccomplished today despite getting 11 things done.
The good news? Mr. BIL is leaving at 3:15 p.m. The bad news? Mr. BIL is leaving at 3:15 p.m., just went into a 2 p.m. meeting AND needs to finalize a FedEx overnight package before he leaves for the day. Somehow I predict from 3 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. I’ll be pulling out ALL my hair.
And don’t get me started on the meeting I had with him this morning at 10 a.m. I was about to blow my stack during that one.
