Yes, I’m still trying to lose weight. And while I haven’t stuck with my 30-day commitments in the slightest, I’ve still had success since recommiting to the goal of losing 20 pounds by Thanksgiving, and have lost 4.5 pounds. So I’m back to my ~35 pound loss that I had in late May before going to Disney (of which I gained back five from June – mid-August).
Tonight while Denis heads to the gym I’ll flip on the Wii Fit for the first time in weeks and get in an hour workout. I would have done it this morning but CootieBoy took forever getting up this morning despite all my prodding and poking, and we didn’t even leave the house until 8 a.m. (we normally leave by 7:30 a.m.). By the time I got home I could only quickly check email before getting ready for work.
My next doctor appointment is in eight days. I’d LIKE to lose two more pounds by then so that I can show the medical research team that I’m truly back on board with the program and determined to lose more weight. After all – I’m only at the halfway point. I can’t give up now!
I’ve been falling on and off the wagon as well. Now that the weather is nice I think it should be easier to get out and ride the bike, go on walks or even run. (I hate running BTW)
