I normally don’t do these weekly memes, but the questions this week are great, and Amy’s answers made me laugh, so I figured I’d participate too.
Appetizer
When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?
About a month ago. I need to go back in – and get it cut shorter next time.
Soup
Name one thing you miss about being a child.
Staying up late with a good book and a flashlight. I’d stay up WAY past my bedtime if I thought I could finish whatever book I was reading. This habit has stuck around even in my adult life – I stayed up all night a few years ago to read the rest of “A Voice in the Wind” by Francine Rivers.
Salad
Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil.
Butter all the way, baby!
Main Course
If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?
I’ve already tried to learn a little bit – but I’d love to be fluent in Russian. I’ve retained a portion of what I learned on the Pimsleur CDs that Jean gave me a few years ago. But I’d like to go deeper and really learn good conversational Russian. I think it’s a beautiful language.
Dessert
Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…
a work (part-time)-at-home mom to my lovely 9 and 10 year olds, consumer debt-free, and possibly (finally!) starting to build our dream house on our land.
How about you?
App.:
About a month ago… (I need a color real bad, its been over a year since I’ve had that done. **cries just a little**)
Soup:
Long Summers without a care in the world. This working 8hrs a day with only 4 weeks vacation is for the birds.
Salad:
Olive Oil (not that I want to spread it on my Grilled Cheese or anything, but it makes what you cook taste yummy!)
Main Course:
I know Sign Language, but I haven’t practiced in about 8 yrs so I may be a bit rusty…. that was always my second language of choice. I am still working on my Italian. I can actually have a conversation now with Anthony’s Grandmother which makes me happy. However, I may call her a slut in the middle of a sentence, by mistake, so I still have to watch it. (:/)
Dessert:
… I expect to lead a very happy and healthy life surrounded by family and friends.
