The annual attorney/clerk mini-golf game has begun at my firm. This is an annual end-of-summer event wherein all the attorneys, associates and clerks play golf all around the office. Just as it was last year, I have a hole right outside my cube and another one on the other side of my stretch of cubes.
I think it’s ridiculous that only the attorneys, associates and clerks play – whereas the administrative staff (secretaries and paralegals) have to continue working while everyone else cheers or groans with each hole around the ENTIRE OFFICE.
Fortunately, I’m leaving to go get CG in a few minutes, so I only have to tolerate about 15 minutes of actual game time. And I’m at Tee #10 so really I’m only experiencing the practice shots right now – the game starts down in the lobby. I’ll be gone by the time they reach Tee #10.
