My skin is incredibly dry lately. It is drinking on the moisturizer I put on in the morning after my shower. And still by the time I put on my makeup it’s dry again. I feel like I need to start keeping moisturizer in my purse or something. I’ve never done much as far as skin care is concerned. Soap and water is about it. But when I got my facial a couple months ago the technician urged me to consider using something specifically for dry skin.
BORBA, while their descriptions sound very new age in spots, might be something worth considering. I mean, they have a product called HD-Illuminating Plasma Crystals. It sounds like TV enhancement!! But apparently it’s a three-step facial with microdermabrasion, powder that extracts impurities, and a mild chemical peel. And the price for these skin care products aren’t any more out of the world than what you find at your local Sephora store. The plasma crystal thing is only $59.
So I’ve got to think about investing in something like this, since I know I need it. My Oil of Olay isn’t cutting it much anymore. And as we head into the summer, since I’m in a drought area, I know the moist air I need won’t necessarily be available to me. And I don’t think the water in the neighborhood pool counts as something that can refreshen my skin!!
I know this is a PPP but if you’re serious about skin care, seriously check out Arbonne. I can get you a free sample probably and it’s amazing how moisturized my skin is. Completely different than it used to be.

Yeah, I’ll take a free sample! Because I am serious. =)
One of my good friends sells Arbonne – the RE stuff in the orange bottles really works well! IN FACT, a door to door salesperson yesterday asked if my parents were home! (I’m almost 33!)
