If she calls me ONE MORE TIME I swear I’m gonna slit my throat and take myself out of my misery. This exchange happened about an hour ago:
*my phone rings*
Me: This is Jaynee
BB: Hey – I spoke with [client]. He said you can go ahead and send the redline documents and the final versions to the other party.
Me: Great. I’ll do that.
*we hang up*
*my phone rings 2 seconds later*
Me: This is Jaynee.
BB: Hey, it’s me again. Can you go ahead and cc: me on that email as well as [client] and [our other attorney]?
Me: Sure. I’ll do that.
*we hang up*
*my phone rings 2 seconds later*
Me: This is Jaynee.
BB: Hey, it’s me again. Can you also let the other party know that I’m out of the office today and can be reached on my cell phone?
Me, gritting teeth in an effort not to sound as pissed off as I am: Yes. I can do that.
*we hang up*
*my phone rings 2 seconds later*
Me: This is Jaynee.
BB: Hey, it’s me again. I just want to make sure – I asked you to send BOTH blackline and final versions right? They need both versions.
Me: Yes.you.did.
BB: Okay great. Have a good weekend!
