If you ever look at our calendar in the sidebar, you know that Denis and I are headed to Canada in 2009. I can’t wait. We’re spending the entire week in Quebec City at a timeshare about 30 minutes outside the main city. We’re going in the spring, so hopefully we won’t come across foul weather that thwarts our plans.
I’ve been following the prices on flights to Canada and think the best time to buy will be next winter. I’ve seen flights as low as $287, and that is the lowest I’ve seen since I started tracking it about 8 months ago. Right now it’s hovering in the high $400s for a single ticket. Ouch. So the minute it drops below $300 I’m all over it and will book right away.
I’m looking forward to that vacation being a relaxing one. I’d love to just stroll through museums, art galleries, have a leisurely lunch and then stroll around some more. I’m hoping that it can be the antithesis of ever other vacation we’ve ever taken – a relaxing one.
