LONG Day

I had a long day today – this despite a nice long lunch hour out and about Charlotte. I spent a good portion of my morning in the copy room because I had five sets of estate plans that needed two copies each. Doesn’t sound like much, but when each notebook has 10-12 tabs each it can be a long task. Then Mr. BIL had me on the go-go-go because HE was on the go-go-go. As a result, I’m STILL putting together one of those estate notebooks at 5:47 p.m.!

I had a nice lunch though – I drove over to the SuperTarget in Steele Creek (about a 20 minute drive) and picked up PopTarts and Dole salads. The Dole Salads were not at the price that I read about, but with my coupons they ended up $1 a bag. I got four bags. I also had four coupons for PopTarts, so the kids will be happy about that. Once again, I got those for 52 cents each. I had intended to buy some string cheese for the kids, but there were NONE on the shelf. I’m not the only one that wanted free string cheese! Actually I would have been PAID 3 cents per string cheese because they were priced at 22 cents each and my coupon was for 50 cents off two. The Target near my office has a small grocery section, so I’m going to hop over there tomorrow and see if they have cheese.

Tonight I’m working a bit late since I have music practice in Charlotte tonight. So I’ll be here until about 6:45 p.m. It makes for some nice overtime – I’ve already worked over 4 hours this week alone and I don’t turn in my next overtime sheet until the end of next month.

Okay, let me get back to this estate plan notebook.
