I so rarely get to make a post. Just read this on Yahoo News. Are you kidding me? He lied?
WASHINGTON – A study by two nonprofit journalism organizations found that President Bush and top administration officials issued hundreds of false statements about the national security threat from Iraq in the two years following the 2001 terrorist attacks.
The study concluded that the statements “were part of an orchestrated campaign that effectively galvanized public opinion and, in the process, led the nation to war under decidedly false pretenses.”
The study was posted Tuesday on the Web site of the Center for Public Integrity, which worked with the Fund for Independence in Journalism.
All politicians lie… its what they do best!
Yes, unfortunately, that is what they do best. Politicians have the second or third lowest job opinion of all professions. I think lawyer is the worst. Realtor is right up there. So is car dealer.
Consider the source. Funded by Soros, who would say almost anything to attack the President.
And most of the so-called “false statements” cited in the release were in fact about the intel assessments of WMD, which were widely held by intel agencies worldwide. The authors don’t seem to see the difference between “wrong” and “false.”
But then, Dumbocrats are Dumbocrats, after all.
