No one had him in the pool.
On a separate note, when I heard this news this morning, I was in that foggy half-sleep state and honestly thought I dreamed the news report. I thought, “That can’t be true otherwise that would be really eerie.”
Why?
Because a couple days ago on a celebrity blog I read, someone wrote a story about a hotel in California that is in an area near a park that is popular for people to buy drugs – many a B/C/D-celeb has been busted there. The writer was in town staying in that hotel for some meetings. He was eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant when Leif Garrett walked in (you may recall he has been busted more than a few times for drugs) and had breakfast at a nearby table. Then the writer made his way to the elevators to go back to his room and saw Tom Sizemore talking with the folks at the front desk (Sizemore also quite famous for his pesky drug addictions).
The writer then finished with something like, “I hope I don’t see Brad Renfro as I leave for my meeting because that’ll pretty much confirm that they were only biding their time until they could get over to the park to score some heroin.”
It’s all very sad. I also remember reading a few months ago that actor Peter Greene was also back on crack – I read a Premiere Magazine interview a few years ago that went into great detail about his drug addiction – it was horrific and I’ll never forget reading the bit about him being on the set of a movie (Judgment Night with Emilio Estevez) and being caught smoking crack in the closet of one of the trailers just before he had to shoot a scene.
Anyway, RIP Brad Renfro.
He was one of my fake boyfriends.. Oh how sad.
