Starting tomorrow my next 30-day commitment begins. What does this mean? For several days I’ll be doing all three commitments: 1) no eating out/ordering in (extended to January 14), 2) no chocolate (extended to January 27), and now 3) no eating after 9:30 p.m. (January 8 – February 8).
The no eating out hasn’t been that hard. In the beginning it was only a work thing, and then I decided to do it at home as well. The only times I’ve eaten out (3 total) were when we were traveling to VA last weekend, and this weekend when we visited N/B at GWU. This is why I’m adding on three more days to that commitment. As for chocolate, I’m adding two days to that because on the same VA trip I had two chocolate milkshakes when we stopped on the drives to and from VA.
I haven’t lost any more weight (just the three initial pounds), but that’s okay. I know the real weight loss will come when I add exercise to the mix next month (or even earlier – I’m going to try and hit the gym this Saturday before I take the kids to gymnastics). One bonus now that I’m two weeks into no chocolate: I’m not having headaches anymore (I got killer headaches when I first started the no chocolate commitment).
