Tonight I was able to do some work in CootieBoy’s room. By removing one bookcase and the drawers we’re giving Jen, I was able to move things around to the point where he has a LOT of room in there now for his new toys. It looks quite roomy in there now.
CootieGirl was jealous and asked if I would do the same thing in her room, and was sad when I told her that her room doesn’t have anything that can be taken out (her bed and large dresser take up most of the room). However, I AM going to take out a cabinet that is wasting space in her closet so that she can move her toys in there instead. That’ll open up a little space in her room.
I then got to work on the custom blanket order and got that done pretty quickly. I’ve already contacted the customer and she has taken care of making the payment for the blanket. Fast work! Me likey!
I asked Mr. BIL if I could leave work early tomorrow and he said he didn’t think it would be a problem since I worked a full day yesterday when everyone else left two hours early. I originally thought he was leaving early in the afternoon but then found a late afternoon meeting on his calendar, and knew I had to ask him if I could leave instead. Fortunately he was cool about it and didn’t seem to mind.
All that’s left is one more load of laundry and then I’ll be going to bed for the night.
We can also remove the white wicker chair in her room. She never sits on it. We can do a little more cleaning up and we can use her dresser to put the next day’s school clothes instead of the chair. Does Jen want a white wicker chair?
The white wicker chair was a gift from Marmie to CootieGirl. So that stays.
