Funniest Potty Training Event Yet

**WARNING – THIS POST CONTAINS POTTY TALK**

CootieBoy went about 5 for 10 this long weekend on using the potty for #2. It was momentous considering two weeks ago he REFUSED to ever use the potty for #2. Tonight, however, was one of the funniest things to happen yet in my 2+ years of potty training the kids.

CootieBoy was about to go to bed. “I hafta go poopy and peepee, Mommy,” he says. I figured it was a stalling technique, but any request to sit on the potty is accommodated, so I ushered him into the bathroom. Once sitting down, he promptly peed, and then moments later began doing #2 – it was not the most solid product in the world, and caused him to do a combo of pooting and pooping. Quite thrilled by all the noises, his hands started to…wander. And things on his body started to…become more pronounced.

CootieBoy looked down, then stared up at me. “It got big, Mama,” he said curiously. Which caused me to laugh and ask Denis (who was standing nearby) if he had heard CootieBoy. As I relayed the statement to Denis, CootieBoy impatiently hollered, “Mama – look at my JUNK!”

Yes, I’ve taught my son to call his stuff “junk.” I did it as a joke at first, but then as time went on CootieBoy kept saying it since he knew it always made me laugh. And it still does.
