Fortunately, whatever bug CootieBoy had is gone. He came into our room this morning as happy as a clam and hopped into our bed for a few more zzzzz’s. He has been chirpy and happy all morning. YAY! for feeling better!
Denis made us a nice breakfast of Creme Brulee French Toast. Mmm…delish. Ranks up there with the french toast I love at Petunia’s, a restaurant in the French Quarter in New Orleans.
Today we have two missions. First up: Hit up a sale at Lowe’s (I know – it’s ridiculous of me to go out on Black Friday, but the sale is only today and there are some dead-cheap things there that I can’t resist). Second: Put up our Christmas decorations. The kids are excited about that one – CootieBoy even said he didn’t want to fly a kite because we had to do decorations.
In other news, I need to get my stuff ready to load into the van tonight for my trip to the craft market in Raleigh. And if I get any fabric in today I’d also like to get started on a couple custom blankets that I need to make for a couple customers.
