Skin Care Regime

I’ve gotta do something to change my skin care regime. I recently switched over to a moisturizer that I used to use in the winters, but haven’t bought because it became really expensive. However, on my trip to NYC in October I splurged on a jar. I have totally broken out because of this stuff. Bummer. I need something that provides fresh skin care. Even moreso since the moisturizer I bought in NYC is now causing my to break out. Blerg.

So now I’m on the hunt for a good beauty regime to keep my skin clear and moisturized. Granted, winters in South Carolina aren’t nearly as harsh as they were in New Jersey, but it still gets crisp down here come January. Fortunately, Skin Dimensions Online offers moisturizers, green tea anti-oxidants, acne care and anti-aging products – all things that I’m interested in now that I’m nearing my 40s.

    I see the PPP.

Cetaphil cleanser works like a dream and leaves skin feeling soft. I use the bar soap for face and body and love it.

I still use Oil of Olay for my face, but I’m tempted to switch to Cetaphil for that too when this bottle runs out.

Oil of Olay works for me in the summer, but when it’s dry (read: winter) I (usually) need something that can provide more moisture.

I use the Oil of Olay Night Cream every night. If I miss a night I can really tell the next day. My new regime is to use the Oil of Olay Night Cream at night, Oil of Olay in the morning, right before I put on my makeup. If I wait too long I have to re-apply. Then I use Mac’s “Strobe Cream” just before my foundation. It is fabulous and makes the rest of my makeup go on beautifully. Again, the key is putting it on right before. The rest of the day my face feels great.

I can’t find anything that helps my combination skin. EVERYTHING but water makes it break out.

That okay for right now, though… as just the smell of anything sends me over the edge.
