Man, I’ve been busy lately. Last week I was out almost every night of the week. This week? More of the same. Out tonight, Thursday and Friday. And tomorrow is kind of an out night as I’m taking the kids out trick or treating. And if I’m not taking them trick or treating then I’m sitting at the end of my driveway passing out candy. Still not technically “in” for the night.
Fortunately next week it should be quieter – only out two nights (once for Life Group and once for band practice). Other than that I’m home. I hope.

Is that something they do in the South?
It’s definitely something they do in our neighborhood. Our subdivision goes ALL OUT for Halloween and the entire place comes out for the night and just hangs out in their driveways passing out candy. If you stayed inside waiting for your doorbell to ring, you’d be answering it every 5 seconds. So folks set up camp at the end of the driveway so that kids don’t ring the bell all night long. It’s like a big party.
