Yesterday as I was vacuuming the carpet in the tv room I was once again disheartened by the stains. And I’d be all over putting down hardwood flooring RIGHT NOW if we didn’t have a big entertainment center in there that most likely won’t be moved until we build our house. The good news, though? The kitchen is going to look FABULOUS when we re-do it in ceramic tile. This tile in particular would look awesome in our kitchen. It’s a neutral solid color but yet has enough of a pattern in it that it would TOTALLY hide the dirt. *lol*
And there’s always the upstairs – I’d love to redo the carpeting and linoleum in the master suite. I know Denis is partial to hardwood flooring versus carpeting, and I’d be amenable to putting in bamboo floors in the master bedroom and then put a really nice tile in the bathroom, which has the same generic white linoleum that most builder-grade houses have.
It’ll happen. I just have to be patient.
