It’s amazing that our garage doubled in size when we moved here, and yet we still can’t park a car in there. Denis did a great job clearing SOME space a couple months after we moved in, and yet life takes over and still no space to park a car. Well maybe my car, which is compact.
My mission this fall will be to get that garage in shape so that we can park in there. BOTH cars. It shouldn’t be too hard. Most of what is in the way is CLUTTER. But isn’t it that way with most garages? We don’t use our garage for anything, but I WOULD like to use it to park the cars in. I even said that when we moved in – how great it would be to have a cool car in summer and a warm car in winter, all by simply using the garage.
Tonight when I was loading up the van with my art stuff for the market tomorrow, I saw many ways that we could clean it up so that it’s usable – even if we just spend 20 minutes each night doing SOMETHING in there. There are a few things we need to take to the dump – like broken furniture that can’t be fixed. Hopefully Denis and I can make a pledge to do that a couple nights a week. If we did that we’d get it cleaned up within 3-4 weeks, I’m sure – just in time for the cold weather to hit!
