This day has been absolutely the SLOWEST DAY EVER. I’m not even joking. And it’s not like I’m swamped with work, or stuck with nothing to do. I’ve been modestly busy all day. But color me shocked a while ago when I figured it was 5:15 p.m. or so and looked at the clock and saw it was only 3:24 p.m.! That’s SO wrong!! I was starting to get into my “almost time to go home” mode and instead I had 2 1/2 more hours!
I think part of the problem is that I stayed in for lunch today rather than leaving the office altogether. My lunch was still an hour long, but since it was up in the break room as opposed to me leaving the building, it made the day seem even longer.
In other news, besides me going to NYC in October, Denis is also taking his own trip up there. His company is sending him there for some training. The training is October 10-12, and he’s going to fly up on the 9th (Tuesday) and stay through the 14th (Sunday) so he can spend time with his family and friends. Our fall and early winter are shaping up to be VERY VERY busy!! Yikes. Just looking at the calendar for September and October makes me tired.
