I tell ya, since my review? INUNDATED WITH WORK!! Fortunately, it’s manageable today now that I got so many tasks off my list yesterday. But today is DEADLINE DAY. Blondie Boss has a document to a major client that has to go out by 4 p.m., but Mr. BIL is going to a 4-hour meeting that *starts* at 4 p.m. so he ALSO has a 4 p.m. deadline for all his stuff. Add in a last minute 3 p.m. appointment that Mr. BIL made for himself, and it has been very hectic. So hectic that I’m skipping lunch today (I had pop-tarts at my desk as my lunch). Fortunately, I’ve managed to still work on the three projects I wanted to get out today, and just might be able to get those at least to a stage when they can go out first thing tomorrow morning.
I did manage to get some filing done this morning, including sending a bunch of file folders to our central system rather than keeping them on my desk. I tried to pick the clients that I think we’re “done” with for now, but I just know that early next week one of them will call with some changes to something. It always happens when I send files to central filing.
But it’s still a good day today, and I can definitely tell the difference that my cleaner desk makes – I’m less frazzled and distracted. It’s nice. Wish it could stay this way! *lol*
