Today feels like a pre-holiday work day. No one is here (at least 1/3 of the company is taking a vacation day), and even those that are here aren’t doing much. I was going to take a long leisurely lunch to read for a while, but ended up going out to lunch with a couple of the girls here in the office. I’m now back and am going to do the last tape that Mr. BIL gave me before he went on vacation. It’s a “various tasks” tape that should take about an hour to do. Then I will TRULY have nothing to do for the remainder of the day. Because of this, I plan on leaving at 5 p.m. So YAY to having only 3 hours left in my workday!!
Last night I made the CDs for my co-workers who requested them, and they were all quite pleased to have them so soon. My only regret is that Xanadu wouldn’t record over for some reason, so I had to replace that track with another one.
Speaking of Xanadu, I’ve decided to definitely get tickets for the show on Broadway. The official critics reviews don’t come out until next week, but I’ve seen enough fan appreciation reviews to know that I want to go. So I’m just confirming with Ace that he’ll make himself available, and then I’ll buy the tickets for early October and go spend the weekend in NYC.
Some of the reviews I have read sound like it’s a lot of fun!
