The plan last night was to go to church this morning, but upon waking up this morning I could barely walk. Taking CootieBoy to the pool last night for a couple hours was obviously a big mistake. I tell ya, playing with him in the pool is a major muscle workout. My arms and legs are killing me. My back doesn’t hurt as much today, which is good.
About fifteen minutes ago CootieGirl asked when we were leaving for church and was sad when we told her we weren’t going. She quickly recovered however, and went back to playing with her toys.
One funny thing she did earlier today. She was sitting at the piano (she calls it the plan-yo) and asked me to sit and listen to her. I sat on the sofa to listen, when she turned and asked, “What song would you like me to play for you?”
“I’d like you to play whatever you want to play.”
“No, mama, you pick. What song do you have in your heart?”
Too funny.
