**MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD**
American Idol 6: A mostly lackluster finale compared to others we’ve seen in the past. However, there were two standout performances for me. First was Blake’s beatboxing number with Doug E. Fresh. I’m a HUGE fan of old school rap (circa mid-1980s) and Blake did some amazing things on that stage last night. The other one was Jordin’s duet with Ruben Studdard. They NEED to release that as a single. It was very well done and their voices matched each other perfectly.
Lost: I was very afraid this finale was going to suck. Boy was I surprised that it was amazing! Here’s the thing. Heroes was a great show all season long, but their finale had one big disappointment that overshadowed the rest of the episode. Lost has sucked for most of the season but pulled it all together into an amazing two-hour finale last night. Am I the only one that didn’t realize it was flashforward until Kate appeared at the end? I will say this – when Jack pulled up to the funeral parlor and used his phone, I thought the continuity person the set made a HUGE error by letting him have a RAZR, which wouldn’t have been available before the plane crash. It was only later (when Kate showed up at the airport) that I realized it was a flashforward. I’m not one of those Lost watchers who obsesses over every single detail of an episode and can remember that in Episode 2.6 Jack bought a can of Coke from a street vendor. So I didn’t even notice the tips in the episode that helped people know he was flashforwarding. In any event, other sites do a better job of recapping, so I’ll leave them to it, but this finale put the fire in me again for the show. LOVED IT.
The LOST finale kicked so much ass it’s not. even. funny.

The morning show I listen to here in Philly does a recap of the show
every Thursday morning. They said that the name of the funeral
parlor is acctually an anaogram(sp?) for flash back.
It was a anagram of “flash forward”. Yes, that’s true. There were other tips in there as well. The question on everyone’s mind: who was in the coffin. I’ve heard Locke, Ben, Rose, Juliet, Michael, and Walt. The best theories have all been about Locke, considering he almost offed himself when his legs wouldn’t work while he lay in the ditch. One theory is that when he left the island he became a paraplegic again, and was utterly alone, and it made him so depressed that he killed himself. But he made so many enemies before they all left the island that no one came to his funeral.
